The Miners' Creek comprises about ten developed trails for trout fishing. The fishing area extends for nearly 11 km and starts at the Trout Bridge. There are three bridges over the Miners' Creek.
The Miners' Creek is known as a salmon river. Occasionally, especially in high water conditions, salmon can be found there, especially the grilse (less than 63 cm). Salmon fishing is prohibited year-round. Catch and release is mandatory. Fishing for other species is allowed with a permit for Other species.
You can choose between fishing with a fishing line or fly fishing. There are some beautiful trout waiting for you, and sometimes some nice fights. Depending on the time of year and with fishing boots, it is possible to walk down to the creek at some places to reach the pools that are further away. Caution: The water level can be high in some places.
